Trick-or-Treat

Halloween entails a lot!  I am about to sound like my grandparents but back when I was a kid, Halloween was dressing up one night and going door to door to trick-or-treat.  Now there are carnivals and trunk or treats, it's just a lot!  As the kids get older we will probably decide on one thing to do.  We didn't even actually go trick-or-treating this year but we did plenty of other things.  Both of the boys were dressed as dalmatians (puppy dogs as Noah told everyone).  The Saturday before Halloween we went to the church's trunk or treat/fall carnival.  The kids got candy, played on the fire truck, and bounced in the bouncy house.  The best part was that an actual dog would not stop barking at Noah and Luke and acting so happy like he wanted to play with the other "dogs".  Sunday night we went to the fairgrounds where local businesses did another trunk or treat and then Monday we trick or treated around Dan's office (they by far had the best candy....those lawyers).  By Monday night Luke hated his costume and Noah was on a complete sugar high so we decided to go for pizza instead of doing the trick-or-treat thing.  It was a fun Halloween but I am glad to be done with this holiday for the next year!!
Luke in his puppy dog costume (he was so grumpy every time he wore it and we found out a couple days later he had an ear infection)

Had to put one of Dan in there too
