Every time I meet someone who finds out we are new to Jeff City and have kids tells us we should go to the Nature Center. It is fantastic, we have been there 5 times already!! There is neat stuff to do inside like bird watching, snapping turtles, snakes, mice, birds, pretend fishing, etc. They also have nature trails that are pretty short (less than a mile) so Noah loved walking them. There are streams you can throw rocks into, bridges, logs to jump off of, and we saw turkeys and deer on our many walks. They also have programs for kids on Saturday mornings and throughout the week.
