Memorial Day Weekend

I realize I'm a little late on this post but better late than never. Last weekend the Bononi's (our friends from small group) had an extra room from a time share someone had given them in Branson. Branson is like a little mini Vegas (minus the gambling). It has tons of shows and very strange sights but it is on a lake and very pretty. We didn't go to any of the shows but we did take advantage of the pools, grills, and playgrounds the resort had to offer. Noah had a lot of firsts on our vacation. The trip was very spontaneous and we didn't pack him dinner Friday night so we stopped at Arbys (for some reason that seemed like the healthiest fast food place), so Noah got his first "happy meal". It was also his first time in a pool (technically he went in the pool when he was 5 weeks old but it's not like he has any recollection of that) and his first time eating an ice cream cone (only a few bites and then I happily ate the rest). We had a great time and were so thankful to Dawn and Brian for giving us a free vacation! Family picture by the lake
