Way too fast....9 months

This is a long post so if you don't care about lots of developments, I won't be offended if you don't read this one!  Usually well baby check ups are kind of boring, especially with the 2nd child but Luke's 9 month check up was quite eventful.  The first item we discussed was his possible allergy.  When we took him to urgent care for the huge hives covering his body the nurse practitioner said it was probably from the amoxicillan he had finished 3 days previously.  Then she said or it could maybe be from the nuts in the banana bread.  Our pediatrician said it was probably not the amoxicillan since the hives showed up 3 days later and it was more likely the nuts.  She is referring us to a pediatric allergist because she was concerned about the severity of the hives and the fact that he didn't actually eat a nut, just bread that contained nuts.  So until we can get an appointment I have to be really careful that anything he eats doesn't contain nuts.  There was also a concern about his weight.  Luke was born very late and was in the 90% at birth, 95% at 2 weeks, 85% at 2 months and it's gradually gone down each month.  He is still gaining weight but he went from 50% at 6 months to 10% this month!  She thought maybe my milk supply has gone down or my milk just isn't that fatty (probably TMI for some of you).  She said because of his age I don't need to supplement, I just need to nurse him at least an hour before each meal so he is good and hungry and consumes a lot of calories at meal times.  He is going back next month to check his weight.  I think it's weird because this kid eats SO much!  Last night for dinner he had 3 tablespoons of baby cereal mixed with an entire jar of green beans plus half a jar of squash.  He then ate about 1/2 cup of black beans, about a tablespoon of diced chicken, and an entire piece of toast.  I feel like that's enough for a 9 month old!!  Anyways, he weighs 18 pounds, and is 28.5 inches long.  He is a crawling machine.  He has pulled up to standing a few times.  He sings now which is just so sweet.  He says all kinds of syllables strung together.  He has wonderful eye hand coordination and great fine motor skills.  If I ask him to say mama he will say it but if I ask him to say dada he barks like a dog.  He loves to throw things and shout really loud (cheerios, balls, toothbrushes).  He can roll a ball back and forth to you and he really likes books (eating them more than anything).  Oh and his other front tooth came through, he has a gap.  Dan thinks it's cute I think it is soooo goofy looking!!

He loves this hat, he laughs and laughs when you put it on his head
 He LOVES cheese
Riding on Noah's new car (Noah was napping otherwise this would not fly)
See he loves eating, he eats more than Noah!
