He Is Risen!

It seems like it was just Christmas...how can Easter already be here!!!  As a child I loved Easter so much.  I just loved going to church on Easter Sunday and seeing how excited everyone was.  It was just so joyful and wonderful.  It makes me sad that like Christmas, Easter is becoming such a secular holiday.  In our house though we will celebrate Easter for what it is...a glorious day when we get to celebrate the amazing sacrifice Christ made for each one of us and then the incredible miracle when He rose from the dead.  This year we celebrated with Josh and Ana (and Germs).  They drove all night Wednesday night to come see us and got here early Thursday morning.  We didn't end up doing much but it was a really fun time anyways!  I love seeing my family and wish it could be more often.  Here are some pictures from our weekend.

The only picture I got of Josh and Ana with the boys...also, I love how angry their dog Germs looks that he is being replaced by Noah and Luke
Our only family Easter picture, as you can see the boys knew we were about to go on an Easter Egg hunt and were trying to leap out of our arms
Noah finding the first eggs on the stairs
Luke found a few eggs and even figured out how to put them in his basket.  His biggest concern was taking them in and out of the basket and shaking them around
Noah's basket compared to Luke's basket
We thought Noah was being so incredibly sweet giving some of his eggs to Luke because he had so many more, it turns out he just figured out Luke's basket fit more eggs and he  put all of them into Luke's basket and claimed them as all for himself!

Josh and Ana left Saturday night so Sunday we went to church, had brunch at church and then after nap time had a picnic in the park.  We missed Josh and Ana but it was such a nice family day!

Blowing bubbles for Luke

  1. They are both getting so big! After just looking at Jamie's bluebonnet pictures, I realized that the Berezoski boys should marry the Turner girls! How fun would that be!
